My fighting style is 'otimo'
In my long career, I've been fortunate enough to train with masters in a variety of fighting styles. I began with judo and karate as a youngster, and moved on to fencing and bow-staff. I've walked the paths of the dragon, the rat, and the monkey. I have defeated Sith and Smiths, and faced down whole armies of deadly disc-throwing warriors. I have now undertaken a new martial art - the Afro-Brazilian splendour that is capoeira.
Some readers might recall the style from Tekkens 1-3 and Street Fighter III.
It has far and away the best tunes - and apparently videos - of any fighting style.
And this is the geezer I had to sort out in class tonight because he was being cheeky. In Portuguese. He was supposed to have fixed the plumbing, but you only have to look at the state of the place to know he was taking the piss:
So please join me as I explore this fresh pursuit. The date of my 'baptism', special capoeira name allocation, and first belt test fast approaches.
